As for the Female Group Category, the quartet BLACKPINK received the title among other girl groups.
Within the pool of successful boy bands this year, it is rather a tough year for girl groups, but BLACKPINK's releases and first full-length album lifted the girl's power.
BLACKPINK achieved massive records of having YouTube MVs reached 100 million views with 32 hours for " How You Like That" and the first girl group to become a "Million-seller" with their album, "The Album."
