Korean singer-songwriter Jeong Se-Woon has announced his comeback with "24 Part 2," set for a January 6, 2021 release.
Jeong's talent management company, Starship Entertainment, has released the announcement poster for "24 Part 2" on its official SNS channel on December 15, scheduling his New Year's comeback. The released poster sports a pink and blue motif, suggesting a softer and more intimate vibe compared to the brighter summer colors used in the first part of his first studio album. Even more interesting is a closeup of the "When It Rains" artist shown from a camcorder screen.

The softer-colored poster is filled with red broken circles, reminiscent of recording or focus buttons in videography and photography. Visible in the promotional material are the words: "Jeong Sewoon. 1st Album. 2021.01.06. Coming Soon." Additionally, the album's name is located in the lower right corner, "Part 2, 24."
Jeong also posted the same poster on his Official Instagram account, filling his fanbase - called "Haengwoon" (Luck) - with excitement in anticipating for his much-awaited comeback. He released his first full-length studio album, "24 Part 1," last July 14. It was accompanied by an online launch event, with Jeong Se-Woon entertaining and performing for the fans he can't meet because of the coronavirus pandemic. In the event, he explained the reason behind the name of the album, "24," saying that it indicates the completion of a day and marks a new beginning, which he decided to focus on.
Starship Entertainment also said in a statement following Part 1's release: "Jeong Se-woon will release PART 2, the complete version of his full-length album "24," in six months. We ask for your anticipation and interest in the musical growth of Jeong Se-Woon, who will be introduced in the new year."
About Jeong Se-Woon
Jeong Se-Woon first made his public appearance in 2013 as a contestant in the third season of the reality TV competition series "Survival Audition K-Pop Star." In 2017, he was among the Starship Entertainment representatives for the boy group survival reality show "Produce 101 Season 2" together with Lee Gwang-Hyun. While Jeong managed to enter the Top 20, he failed to join the boy group that would eventually debut as Wanna One, finishing 12th place.
The young South Korean artist then made his debut later in the same year, on August 31, with his extended play "Ever." His debut EP made a strong impression, peaking at the second slot of the Gaon Albums Charts. The six-track release includes his original compositions "Miracle" and "Never Mind."
Aside from his solo career, Jeong has also made a number of K-Drama soundtracks such as "There's Something" from the SBS TV series "Wok of Love," "It's You" from the tvN hit series "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim," and more. In 2019, Jeong Se-Woon also served as a radio DJ for the EBS radio program "Listen," which saw the artist take over Kim Chung Ha's beloved show.
