Former f(x) member Luna makes her debut on the Marvel world with a new single, "Flow (ft. Luna)," premiering Wednesday, December 16.
The South Korean idol, singer, and singer will be joining Marvel's first K-Pop superhero, Luna Snow in her latest single. The premiere will coincide with a special live-streamed event for her fans everywhere, which also marks Snow's debut in "MARVEL Super War" - Marvel's first mobile multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA). The game, now featuring Luna Snow, is available to play in select countries around the globe, both for Android and iOS devices.
Luna Snow was launched with a Premiere Stream on the MARVEL Super War YouTube channel, as well as on its social media accounts. At the end of the stream, f(x)'s Luna extended her congratulations to the 1st anniversary of the hit mobile game before introducing her namesake K-Pop idol and their collaboration together.
Marvel's First K-Pop Idol Superhero
Luna Snow, the South Korean idol turned superhero, first made her debut in the 2018 mobile RPG "Marvel Future Fight" before making her comics' debut in "New Agents of Atlas" before getting her own one-shot "Future Fight First Luna Snow #1," both released in 2019. She is the second original character to come from Marvel Future Fight after the alternate Captain America, Sharon Rogers.
Her origin story tells how Seol Hee launched her music career to support her grandmother, who raised her since her own parents died. While performing at an event by Stark Industries, she was attacked and locked in a freezer that gave her cryokinetic powers. Her powers allow her to create blasts and construct weapons from ice.
Snow has already released two singles prior to the release of "Flow." First was her single "Tonight," a Korean-language track accompanied by a music video that features the South Korean superhero's skillset in the Marvel Future Fight video game. It was followed by "I Really Wanna," which featured singer-songwriter Krysta Youngs. Its animated music video featured concept arts as well as updated animation sequences for the Future Fight hero. In both tracks, Luna Snow's vocals were provided by Myeong Hyeong Seo, better known as Hyeongseo from the K-Pop girl group Busters.
