BLACKPINK's 'How You Like That' Breaks Own Record for Fastest Girl Group MV to Reach 700M views

The K-pop girl group BLACKPINK then again breaks their own record as the girl group that has the fastest music video to reach 700 million views!

BLACKPINK's "How You Like That" MV has finally surpassed 700 million views. It is noted to be BLACKPINK's fifth MV to exceed 700 million views in history, which is also the track MV to achieve the record for the shortest time.

According to YG Entertainment on Dec. 19, Saturday, BLACKPINK's "How You Like That" gained the view counts at 11:25 a.m. KST on the same day.

BLACKPINK "How You Like That" Beats "DDU DU DDU-DU"

In particular, the pre-release track of the girl group was only 176 days since it was released on June 26, while BLACKPINK'S previous mega-hit song, "DDU-DU DDU-DU," took 266 days or over eighth months before reaching this honor, thus the latter track loses to the former as "Girl Group MV to reach 700 million views" - which were both tracks released by BLACKPINK.

Currently, the quartet has a total of five tracks that surpassed the achievement including "How You Like That," "BOOMBAYAH," "As If It's Your Last," "DDU-DU DDU-DU," and "KILL THIS LOVE."

Also, it dominated numerous year-end rankings, too, such ranking at No.23 for Billboard's "Best Songs of 2020: Staff Picks" and No. 20 for "Best Music Video of 2020: Staff Picks."

The track is especially a huge hit that was felt on multiple musics and video streaming services, including YouTube. In fact, the song was listed in the Guinness World Records' "Most Viewed YouTube Video in 24 Hours" category with 86.3 million views a day after its release.
