Kwon Mina, a former AOA member, let out her frustrations against malicious comments being thrown by supporters of her former co-member Jimin.
Recently, the ex-AOA leader rapper and vocalist, Mina, wrote a lengthy message on her Instagram account, addressing the hate and negative comments she's been receiving from which she called "Jimin fans."
She warned the haters as she said, "I really didn't want to mention it twice, but when it comes to doing something wrong, I'll take advice or criticisms. But if you're going to say something like this, that I destroyed many people's lives because you're her fan, I hope you just shut your mouth."
As she continued, Mina then shared again how severe the pain that was inflicted on her by Jimin, and how her supporters blaming her for what happened to their idol is no different from being "murderers."
"Thinking about the people who suffered and died because of you, you're also murderers. Even without you people, I can't live a normal life, and I have some kinds of mental illness because of one person, and I can't sleep well because I keep thinking about it and appearing in my dreams. It feels so unfair."
In addition to this, Mina is also contemplating why she felt so wronged when all she did was to expose the wrongdoings of Jimin.
"I don't know what kind of person you think she is, but what she did to me and what she said to me is beyond imagination. I don't know why she didn't like me, she didn't admit it, she didn't even apologize, and I swear to my father and his father in heaven until the end that all I brought up were all the facts,"
Despite several months that past after the bullying controversy broke out, Mina has still a lingering resentment towards Jimin, saying, "She can't remember and she doesn't admit it, but what can I do? I have to meet one person wrong and live my whole life while taking medicines. If I break down, I can't control it. I wanted to beat her as much as I was beaten that day."
Mina even recalled the time Jimin was reported to have visited her, few days after the issue spread among the media and K-pop fans.
"What's really unfair is that I didn't collect all her actions as evidence, and I thought I'd be able to turn her around. But that day, I thought everyone would be ready to record and shoot on their cell phones, so I couldn't curse and say whatever I want to say. Are you then sorry for a person who does things on her way and like power-tripping? Is that why you resent me?"
Lastly, Mina asks that if people can't empathize with her, at least respect her a d her feelings.
"I wish you could put yourself in my shoes and feel the same way I've been to through with her for 10 years. Please don't mention it because I'm suffering day by day. I'm the one who was destroyed."
Kwon Min-ah said earlier that she had been bullied by AOA member Jimin for 10 years, and released a photo of her extreme choice attempts and self-harm due to severe depression, which caused a stir. Other members of the AOA were also criticized for being on the sidelines of the incident, and Seol-hyun, who was close to Jimin, was also criticized. Since then, Jimin has left AOA and retired from the entertainment industry, and questions have been gathered about his recent status.
Currently, Mina is focusing on her career as an actress and express on one of her photoshoot that she will try to live a happier life by working.
