P NATION has announced the new artist who has recently signed an exclusive contract with them, and he is already set to make his solo debut under the company.
On Dec. 28, PSY uploaded a teaser image to his Instagram account, revealing that P NATION will be adding a new artist to its roster. In the picture, only the silhouette of the singer can be seen. Some followers of PSY guessed that it could be Cheetah or former 2NE1 member CL. Others even said that the new artist gives a G-Dragon vibe. The additional singer becomes the second artist to sign with P NATION this year, and the sixth overall, following Jessi, HyunA, Dawn, Crush, and Heize.

The following day, PSY's self-established agency P NATION has officially introduced the new talented artist in the family, and it is none other than rapper D.Ark! PSY revealed D.Ark's identity through his social media accounts and the idol's own YouTube channel where he uploaded the official video of D.Ark's debut single titled "Potential."
In the video, D.Ark shows off his impressive rapping skills. While he raps, a cloth can be seen in the background. Toward the end of the video, the cloth was removed, showing the phrase, "We Are P NATION" on the wall. This seems to not only convey the new bond between P NATION and D.Ark but also to mark the new beginning of D.Ark as a K-pop idol under PSY's own record label.
While the official video of D.Ark's debut song "Potential" has been dropped, the official release of the song on various platforms in South Korea and overseas will be today, Dec. 30 at noon KST. Meanwhile, posted along with the video of the song are the official social media accounts of D.Ark that P NATION has recently launched.
Choi Yeon So, better known as his stage name, D.Ark, lived in China for 10 years and is trilingual - he can speak in Korean, Chinese, and English. He is also known to be good at freestyling and is "not afraid of anyone."
D.Ark is a young rising hip hop artist that is returning to the K-pop scene after a long break. Many are familiar with him as he previously competed on the seventh season of Mnet's "Show Me The Money," known as "Show Me the Money 777." The program premiered in September 2018 and concluded in November of the same year. He is the second youngest contestant in the show's history, joining this season when he was only 15 years old.
The new P NATION artist also appeared as one of the competitors earlier this year on the ninth season of the said television show, called "Show Me the Money 9." In the program, he was eliminated during the third round called "Triple Crew Battle." His participation in the contest marked his return to the entertainment industry after his hiatus that was caused by his controversy with his ex-girlfriend last October 2018.
