BTS Suga Shares Update on His Recuperation after Shoulder Surgery + Reveals What's He's up to Lately

It is undeniable that numerous fans really miss Suga, who recently underwent surgery to heal his recurring shoulder injury. The "Life Goes On" hitmaker has been away from the limelight for quite some time now as he focuses more on his full recovery.

Recently, Suga sat down with Weverse Magazine for an interview about his passion for his life and music. He revealed the current state of his shoulder, divulging that it is "good" now and he expects it to be better once he takes off the brace.

Suga shared he feels glad that he had resolved one problem that had been causing him stress over and over. The BTS member revealed he needed to go under the knife since his doctors advised him to start preparing early for the group's activities and promotions in 2021.

When asked about his feeling while watching other BTS members doing promotions, Suga stated it does not feel great at all. He told the entertainment publication that he could see the "emptiness" because he knows something is missing. He said that he has been with Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, V, and RM as a group of seven for years and he really misses being with them.

However, Suga said he wants to focus on his full recuperation since his doctors keep telling him not to be impatient even after several months of not being seen on stage. The BTS member shared several athletes had to undergo another round of surgery when they come back to the field without proper rehabilitation, which is something he badly needs to avoid.

After the shoulder surgery, Suga shared he got so frustrated for being away from his members, and restricted from performing in front of his avid followers. Because of that, he was forced to try new things and even watched films he did not like.

Suga also talked about the second album of BTS in 2020 called "BE." He disclosed that it took less than a week to do his part in the album, saying he wrote a complete version of "Life Goes On" after composing two melodies for the song. Suga stated he liked the third version with a rap that he immediately started working on separate lyrics and arrangement for it.

The interviewer also asked Suga about all the changes the group had since they debuted in 2013, to which the BTS member said nothing much has really changed even after all the achievements they attained and awards they received. He added all BTS members do not make success a huge deal.

Suga said he and his members are very much grateful to their devoted fans, who are among the reasons why they were able to achieve numerous things in the past seven years. He said getting a Grammy nomination is a thing but making fans happy when receiving a great award is more important for them.
