Many fans are thrilled for the imminent solo debut of BLACKPINK's main vocalist Rosé. Numerous people think that the co-member of Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo is the most talented member of the South Korean girl group. Aside from being good at singing and dancing, Rosé has also been giving her devoted supporters stunning visuals in her commercial posters and magazine covers.
Recently, avid followers of Rosé saw the other side of her when some snaps during her graduation made rounds online. In the photos, the BLACKPINK member appears so innocent and fledgling while wearing what appears to be her school uniform. The other photo showed the "Lovesick Girls" singer sporting curtain bangs and short hair.
Many fans noticed how Rosé looks so fresh and beautiful even without makeup. Reports have it that the said images were taken before the songstress flew off to Korea and was launched as an official member of BLACKPINK. Some netizens also praised the singer for her transformation when she became a professional performer.
Rosé, most of the time, appears classy with oozing charisma in her most recent photos. Others stated that the BLACKPINK member has grown up very well, saying that puberty has hit her so hard.
Before 2021 came in, YG Entertainment confirmed that Rosé and Lisa would be having their solo debuts very soon. The talent agency previously announced that Jisoo will be releasing a solo album. However, since she is currently busy working on her upcoming new series, titled "Snowdrop," it would be pushed back temporarily, which means the spotlight would be on Rosé and Lisa.
Multiple outlets suggested that Rosé and Lisa are already preparing their solo tracks. It was even claimed that the New Zealand singer based in South Korea would start shooting her music video in the coming weeks. However, YG Entertainment has not yet released any confirmation about these reports up to this writing.
Aside from their forthcoming solo debuts, Rosé and Lisa are also busy rehearsing for their virtual concert with Jennie and Jisoo called "The Show." Supposedly, BLACKPINK would treat their fans with pre-recorded performances before the end of 2020 as a way of saying thank you for their unwavering support, especially when they dropped their latest LP titled "The Album" in October last year.
Unfortunately, the quartet was forced to cancel the concert and decided to move it on Jan. 31, 2021, after the number of COVID-19 cases in South Korea started spiking again. In their official social media accounts, the BLACKPINK members explained that they had to postpone the virtual concert to follow the health protocols set by South Korea's Ministry of Health and Welfare.
In their upcoming event, BLACKPINK is expected to perform some of their popular songs such as "Ice Cream," "How You Like That," "Kill This Love," DDU-DU DDU-DU" and "Lovesick Girls" among others. It remains to be seen id BLACKPINK would have guest to perform with them.
