For three consecutive years, BTS main dancer and lead vocalist Jimin has been defined by Urban Dictionary as "King of K-pop." Earlier, various Korean media outlets reported the continuous global reputation of Jimin, highlighting its title as "King of K-pop."
In particular, Urban Dictionary has been defining Jimin as the "King of K-pop" for three consecutive years since 2019.
Urban Dictionary, which is linked with Naver English Dictionary has a unique listing of meaning of words, dealing with standard and words that cannot be found in dictionaries, giving more appeal and meaning to readers.
Aside from being the "King of K-pop," Jimin was also defined as a "beautiful person that was sent from the angels," as well as many positive words that can be linked to him.
Jimin is the "King of K-pop," Says Urban Dictionary
On Jan. 7, Thursday, Urban Dictionary was asked by netizens if who is the "King of K-pop" through social media platforms, particularly on Twitter. Urban Dictionary then defined Jimin as "King of K-pop."
Going on the online dictionary's official website, when the phrase "King of K-pop" was searched, only the name of Park Jimin of BTS is appearing.
When asked if what kind of personality Jimin has, the dictionary says, "Jimin: A beautiful person that was sent from the Angels." In addition to this, it also linked the word "Oppa" to him, and explained that if Jimin is not a K-pop fan's bias, he is for sure a bias wrecker.
In another definition, the male idol was described as, "Jimin will consume all the thoughts, moods, and love in your existence and will replace it with himself. You will spend every day hoping and praying for him to be happy and healthy."
Lastly, other words such as "Jimin effect" and "mochi" were given definitions in the dictionary as well, all related to Jimin's ability to make everyone feel love and happiness, with his preciousness.

BTS Jimin Proves Power with "Filter"
Meanwhile, Jimin proved that he deserved his title as recently, Jimin's solo track "Filter" topped the list of all-boy group's solo songs list in the "Gaon Chart year-end rankings" 2020.
"Filter" gained more than 221 million annual Gaon digital points in 2020, which also secured his spot at eighth place on the overall boy group songs ranking.
While BTS Jimin 'Filter' topped the Gaon Chart Boy Group solo chart in 2020, his produced song "Friends" also entered the overall ranking at No. 7. The song is actually a BTS track that Jimin wrote, composed, and produced for the first time, showing her musical prowess.
On the other hand, BTS, comprises of Jimin, RM, Jin, Suga, Jungkook, J-Hope, and V swept the same "Top 10" list as their hit tracks, "Dynamite," "Boy with Luv," "On Spring Day," "Black Swan," "Zero O'Clock," "Savage Love" and "Moon" ranked No. 1 to 10 as well, including "Friends" and "Filter."
