MONSTA X served as the guests for the grand finale of the K-Pop idol variety show "Idol Wonderland," January 27.
In the JBTC and KT Seezn collaborative idowl show, K-Pop artists are given the opportunity to create a distinct bonding opportunity with their fans against an amusement park setting. Aside from special outfit themes and surprise idol appearances every episode, it also has the popular "Dokjjaral" segment where artists connect with their fans through real-time chat events. Through the show's format, it aims to allow K-Pop idols have a day with their respective fans and even grant wishes from their supporter from all around the world.
MONSTA X, according to a statement from its talent management label Starship Entertainment, appeared in the show where they had previously worked with the same production crew as those who worked on the entertainment program "MONSTA X-RAY."
The six-member Starship boy group - Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. - have become television guesting favorites for bringing their own brand of entertainment. They also possess the uncanny ability to give off witty, and often funny, responses during their interviews. Fans can expect MONSTA X to deliver their signature brand of TV show presence across the attractions in "Idol Wonderland" - going through "Strand," "Wish Express," and "Pantopia." As a fitting swan song for the beloved show, MONSTA X also teased about making the episode memorable with their performances and activities.
Fans can watch episodes of "Idol Wonderland" through the Seezn app in South Korea and at the ZAIKO channel in Japan, with the MONSTA X finale episode airing last January 27 at 9PM.
The "Idol Wonderland" send off marks the boy group's latest activity, shortly after witnessing their song "Nobody Else" make its debut at the tenth spot of the US Billboard's Digital Songs Sales Chart. Notable for being self-composed by Hyungwon, being credited with the composition, lyrics, and arrangement of the song from their latest album, "Fatal Love."
