Kim Woojin, a former member of Stray Kids, revealed that he's been suffering cyberbullying as an aftermath of the false rumors about him. Due to this, his agency has begun taking legal action against perpetrators.

Solo artist Kim Woojin's agency, 10x Entertainment, announced on Feb. 1, Monday, that the idol has filed a complaint with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's cyber investigation team on charges of violating the law through promoting the use of information and communications networks against them.

The targets of the complaint are netizens who spread false information and remarks about the singer.

Along with the report, 10x Entertainment also confessed that Kim Woojin had a hard time due to severe cyberharassment. Various rumors spread through the internet about Woojin in 2020, including alleged sexual harassment to unidentified victims, photoshopped nude photos, and other excessive anti-fan activities.

In particular, the whole controversy started September last year, when a foreign netizen posted a message on Twitter claiming "I was sexually harassed by a famous idol."

After gaining much attention from K-pop enthusiasts, the netizen who was asked if who's her perpetrator dropped vague hints, but netizens were quick to name Kim Woojin as one of the assailants.

Later, another netizen presented a photo as evidence, saying, "I was sexually harassed by Kim Woojin in April."

In the photo, a man's upper body and a bottle of alcohol were shown, leaving the face unidentified thus it is unsure if it's Kim Woojin's face.

The singer denied the allegations shortly after, and his new agency 10x Entertainment also provided proof he only stayed at home by the time the netizen claimed Woojin assaulted her.

It was already confirmed that the photo which the second netizen provided as proof was confirmed to have been stolen from a man in his 20s through his Instagram.

The man said on his Instagram, "The photo was taken in August across from my friend. I am angry that someone used my photo as false evidence without permission."
