IU continues to enter music charts not only in South Korea but in the United States as well. In particular, the "Blueming" singer managed to dominate Billboard's K-pop 100 chart for two consecutive weeks.
On Feb. 9, Billboard Korea announced that IU's new song "Celebrity" topped Billboard's K-pop 100 chart for two weeks in a row. Last week, it debuted atop the said chart with the highest digital sales volume, and this week, it not only has the highest digital sales but also the highest amount of streams.
IU's "Eight" feat. BTS Suga and Other Older Works Enter This Week's Billboard's K-pop 100 Chart
Together with her new song "Celebirity," IU's previous works continue to rank high on the chart as well. Her famous collaboration with BTS Suga, titled "Eight," came in at No. 10 last week and set the record for the longest-charting song within the top 10 of Billboard's K-pop 100 chart at 26 weeks. This week, IU's "Eight" rose to No. 6, making this its 27th time to make it to the top 10.

Additionally, the other songs of the K-pop soloist climbed the chart. This includes her 2019 track "Blueming," at No. 15, her 2017 single "Through the Night" at No. 21, and her 2011 self-composed song "Hold My Hand" at No. 46. IU's "Crash Landing on You" OST titled "Give You My Heart" also remained on the Billboard chart, coming in at No. 61 this week. Meanwhile, her 2013 collaboration with Jang Yi Jeong of History, titled "See You on Friday" is at No. 82.

All of IU's songs ascent from four to 48 places this week on Billboard's K-pop 100 chart. The K-pop soloist's 2019 ballad "Love Poem" is the only single to stay strong in its position at No. 12. Moreover, some of IU's other previous songs made their reappearances on the US chart for the first time since last year.
The female idol's collaboration with Kim Changwan, titled "Meaning of You," came in at No. 98, landing on the chart for the first time since last October. Furthermore, IU's "Above the Time" charted at No. 99 this week since it exited from the Billboard chart in December last year. Lastly, "Palette" featuring G-Dragon climbed to No. 94 for the first time.
IU Achieves Third-Longest Perfect All-Kill with "Celebrity"
Meanwhile, IU's new song "Celebrity" received great love upon its release on Jan. 27. Serving as a pre-release track for her upcoming regular album, "Celebrity" immediately grabbed the top spot on Korea's major real-time charts such as Genie, Bugs, and FLO, and even hit No. 1 on MelOn's 24Hits chart.
The next day, the track attained a certified all-kill after ranking first on all the daily and real-time charts in South Korea, as well as on MelOn's 24Hits chart. And as of Jan. 31 at 7:30 p.m. KST, IU's new song has achieved a perfect all-kill after it topped iChart's weekly chart and the other music charts simultaneously.

Other than that, IU's "Celebrity" becomes the K-pop song with the third-longest perfect all-kills in history, with the first K-pop song being BTS's "Dynamite" and the second one is Zico's "Any Song."
As of Feb. 11, the track has spent 209 hours at the No. 1 position of both daily and real-time charts of Bugs and Genie, daily and 24Hits charts of MelOn, VIBE's daily chart, FLO's real-time chart, and iChart's weekly and real-time charts.
