GOT7's "Encore" music video is finally out!

On February 20, the K-pop boy group GOT7 which comprises of members Jaebeom, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, Bambam, and Yugyeom released their new song "Encore" at 6 p.m. on YouTube.

As it was the group's first release after leaving JYP Entertainment, the music video drew several attention and cheering remarks from K-pop enthusiasts particularly from iGOT7, the fandom of GOT7.

The much-awaited song of GOT7 finally kicked off, receiving much love and attention from music fans.

On Saturday, GOT7, in collaboration with Warner Bros Korea gifted their fans with a new song."Encore" is a song that contains a message that GOT7 wants to convey to IGOT7 (GOT7's official fandom name).

In particular, the MV made fans and supporters emotional as aside from seeing how the septet happily created and recorded the song, the lyrics also touched their hearts.

One of the most catching lyrics in the song says, "To us that were experiencing everything for the first time, everything about you was a gift, remember that. We will sing for you (encore), even if the world ends."

In the video that served as a memory lane, GOT7 also relayed their message to fans and said, " Everyone, we're back again!" explaining that the new song was released due to GOT7's sincere desire to keep their promise to their fans. Just like how fans shout, "Encore!" in each of their concerts, the seven-member group will keep singing for them, even if "for the rest of the days."

Before ending their message, GOT7 affirmed to fans that they are always one and hoped that they will always stick together.

GOT7 Avow that They are not Disbanding + Future Plans

On Feb. 19, GOT7 members released "Encore" teaser images on Instagram stories, raising expectations from fans.

Later, JB wrote on his Instagram story, "I told you we are not disbanding" "We're going our way," and "Thank you to everyone."

In context, GOT7 surprised the K-pop industry as they decided to part ways with JYP Entertainment, after their seven-year contract expired in January.

Since then, Yugyeom announced the exclusive contract with AOMG, Jinyoung with BH Entertainment, while Youngjae and Jackson's Team Wang announced their exclusive contract with Sublime Artist Agency, signaling active activities.

As for Mark, he went back to his hometown in L.A., but he has been releasing videos occasionally on his personal YouTube account. He also dropped "One in a Million" track on Feb. 12, in collaboration with Sanjoy.

On the other hand, GOT7 also opened up a new YouTube channel for the whole group, hinting at more releases in the future.
