Mobile game developer Nexon has recently announced K-Pop superstar, BLACKPINK member Jisoo, will be joining LINE FRIENDS X KartRider Rush+.
The BLACKPINK member - dubbed by fans as Miss Korea for her stunning visuals - joins the speed racing game in which the K-Pop star designed in-game items that can be earned by completing quests within KartRider Rush+ starting March 19. A teaser video uploaded on the LINE FRIENDS YouTube channel last February 25 features Jisoo in a variety of activities such as playing the hit mobile speed racing game. She also appeared drawing her own ideas that will serve as the basis for collaboration items under her chosen nickname, "Turtle Rabbit Kim."
"I flew in here after hearing about a fun project prepared by LINE FRIENDS and KartRider Rush+," Jisoo said.
"We're thrilled to partner with LINE FRIENDS and Jisoo on this major collaboration. KartRider Rush+ is recognized for its wide-range of colorful characters and tracks and we hope that players are excited to see the new items Jisoo has proudly designed bringing her own personal style to the game," said Nexon CEO Junghun Lee in a statement.
KartRider Rush+ players will be able to earn additional items from the collaboration project up until May 11. As a part of this new collab, various exclusive items designed by the BLACKPINK member herself will be available for purchase.
Fans expressing support and players of the mobile game can keep up with the latest news about the LINE FRIENDS X KartRider Rush+ collaboration featuring Jisoo through the KartRider Rush+ website, and on its official Twitter Account.
