Taeyang, a member of the "Kings of K-pop" BIGBANG, confessed he's a passionate viewer of the megahit Korean Drama, "Penthouse"! In fact, he's even updated about what happened to Bae Rona!
On March 9, SBS wrote an article about Taeyang, a member of the iconic K-pop group BIGBANG as he drew attention after revealing that he's a fan of SBS drama "Penthouse."
Aside from confessing that he watches the drama, he also memorized the days in which "Penthouse" is being aired, confessed that he also watched the behind-the-scenes video of the series, and is updated about its latest episodes!

Taeyang Attracts Huge Attention After He Revealed He is Watching "Penthouse"
Recently, Taeyang posted a video of aol bird's cry on his Instagram, saying, "What kind of bird is this sound?" However, a fan posted a rather random comment on the post, "Did you see penthouse (Season 2) yesterday?"
Despite the random comment, Taeyang replied to the fan, which received a huge response from the netizens.
In particular, in the fifth episode of "Penthouse 2," the highlight of the drama is when Ha Eun Byul (Choi Yebin) wielded a trophy to Bae Rona (Kim Hyunsoo) that caused her to fell down the stone stairs. In response to the question, Taeyang prayed for the latter character in advance and said, "Yes, R.I.P. Bae Rona."
Eventually, Bae Rona died in the 6th episode of "Penthouse 2," but prior to that, fans interacted with him claiming that Rona is not yet dead, and "In the drama of Kim Soon-ok (writer of the drama), she didn't die until an autopsy."
On March 8, he also responded to fans who talked about Ha Yoon Chul (Yoon Jong Hoon), one of the main characters who turned into a villain in the previous episodes.
A fan commented, "Oppa, did you watch Penthouse today? What did you feel about Ha Yoon Chul?"
He then expressed his sentiments and replied, "Ha....yoon chul....". Along with this, another fan asked Taeyang to do something about Ha Yoon Chul, to which he responded, "Me... me?"
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that he interacted with fans about the top-rated K-Drama. On March 2, he revealed that he's indeed a passionate viewer, leaving comments such as "I watch the drama every Friday and Saturday" and "I watched behind-the-scenes stories on days I don't broadcast," sharing that he also watch "Penthouse Season 1."

BIGBANG Comeback Hints + Members' Solo Albums
On the other hand, K-pop enthusiasts, particularly V.I.P (fandom of BIGBANG), have been long anticipating the comeback of the group dubbed as "Kings of K-pop."
Actually, the group is expected to return to the music scene through their participation in one of the largest music festivals in the U.S., "Coachella," but was unexpectedly postponed indefinitely due to the pandemic.
Since then, no significant comeback news has been reported, but the news that Big Bang leader G-Dragon was working on a new song late last year has raised expectations for his return.
Along with this, Taeyang, who continued to communicate with fans, also replied, "D'splay…" in relation to Daesung's current update--- in which fans claimed to be a hint for a solo return or BIGBANG's comeback.
