Shinhwa made it to the headlines again after some of its members faced off in an online spat recently. On Tuesday, March 16, Shinhwa Company warned that the group is planning to take legal actions against their bashers and malicious commenters.
Shinhwa Reveals Intention to File Case Against Detractors
Shinhwa Company, in a released statement, divulged that all members of the group have been suffering from mental damage because of the serious blasphemy against their loved ones, personal attacks, and malicious issues being thrown at them over the years. The non-stop verbal chaos has, reportedly, affected the relationships of its members.
While the Shinhwa and the agency just tolerated the disparagements for years since they thought it would help each member to grow, this time would be different as they are ready to fight back already. The agency furthered that, during a virtual meeting, it found out that all members of the group had suffered the same damages and it continues to linger up to this very moment.
Shinhwa Company said things are getting worse as they have been so complacent for several years. Now, the agency would no longer accept speculations, slander, insults, defamatory statements and blasphemy toward family members on anonymous bulletin boards.
The most recent statement of the Shinhwa Company was released days after Eric called out Dongwan online for, allegedly, ignoring and disregarding the group's promotions on Instagram. It remains to be seen if the two Shinhwa members have reconciled. However, reports suggested that they have talked it out already.

Eric and Dongwan's Conflict Came to Light Earlier this Week
The online dispute between Eric and Dongwan started after the latter used audio-based mobil app Clubhouse to interact with his followers directly. In one of his conversations, Dongwan, reportedly, mentioned that Shinhwa has been facing some quandaries since one of its members has been inactive lately.
Eric was quick to react to Dongwan's statements and claimed that the latter has not been part of their group chat in the past six years. The K-pop idol added that Dongwan has not been attending their meetings as well, adding that he should be let go if he continues having that behavior.
Fans were also stunned after Eric divulged that he had not been active in the group chat since the end of 2020. Dongwan retorted and the two Shinhwa members engaged in an online dispute with some fans joining in. In the end, Eric and Dongwan agreed to sit down and talk about their issues in person.
On Monday, March 15, Dongwan debunked the speculations that their group would be disbanded after his infamous spat with Eric recently. The South Korean artist shared, during an episode of Naver NOW's "Reply CINE," that the disbandment speculations are complete nonsense.
Dongwan explained that conflicts between Shinhwa members are normal since they are all living in different environments even if they have spent 23 years together already. He even emphasized that small fights, like what he and Eric had days ago, would never break the group apart.
