Why Do People Want to Look Like BLACKPINK's Jennie? Plastic Surgeons Reveal Why!
During the episode, the two plastic surgeons, Park Moon So and Kook Hwa from the Moon Clinic in Gangnam, received a question from a commenter asking whose picture they should bring for plastic surgery and revealed that she had planned to get botox for her face line and square jaw, and she had planned to bring a photo of BLACKPINK's Jennie or DIA's Jung Chaeyeon.
Kook Hwa stated that bringing a photo was not necessary for non-invasive surgical procedures, like botox. She explained that these treatments will not actually change the shape of your face and will not make you look like Jennie.
Park Moon So then revealed that Jennie's visuals are extremely popular among cosmetic surgery patients. Why? Because Jennie has a uniquely short chin and a small jaw. Because of this, Jennie has a more youthful beauty. People cannot even tell she is 25 years old!
Additionally, Jennie has slanted eyes and thick lines. This, in contrast with her cute jawline, makes the "SOLO" singer appear sexy. It is this combination of cute-sexy that makes her visuals so desirable to cosmetic surgery patients.
Many patients who already have a sexy face often come in for treatments that would make them look cuter, such as jawline tailoring. Meanwhile, those with cuter features opt to get lip fillers or other treatments that would make them look sexier.
However, Kook Hwa recommends that if they are going to a plastic surgery clinic and wish to get features similar to a celebrity, it is better to pick one of someone who has a similar image to your own rather than striving to be exactly like BLACKPINK's Jennie. She also notes that many celebrities have slim and small faces in common, and they all have well-formed facial features.
