BTS performed their hit song "Dynamite" at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards in October, as well as at the 2020 American Music Awards in November. The band also presented "Life Goes On," the title track of their "BE" album at the AMAs.

Considering this, curiosity on whether BTS's "Butter" will be released for the first time in the world through the Billboard Music Awards is increasing.

In addition to this, the boy group's upcoming release is predicted to enter the Billboard chart like many of their previous songs. Media outlets say that "Butter" will most likely rise to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, owing to the band's solid fandom called ARMY, their immense popularity, and their steady growth as artists. If this happens, "Butter" will be BTS's fourth song to enter the Hot 100 chart.

In August of last year, BTS landed "Dynamite" as their first-ever track on the Billboard Hot 100. This makes them the very first Korean singer to top the chart. The English digital single took first place three times, including No. 1 for two weeks in a row.

Not only that, the group attained their second chart-topper on Hot 100, which is the remix version of "Savage Love" in collaboration with American singer Jason Derulo in October last year. And last November, the title song of their "BE" album, "Life Goes On," became BTS's third No. 1 on the said Billboard chart.
