UNIVERSE Music, the original music series from the hit K-pop fan interaction platform, has released its latest track with Kang Daniel's "Outerspace (feat. Loco)."
NCSoft and Klap, the developers of the UNIVERSE platform, made good on their promise with the release of the latest UNIVERSE Music single last May 13, 6:00 p.m. KST.
"Outerspace (feat. Loco)" was released across major online music sites, with the music video being released exclusively through the UNIVERSE app.
The new single "Outerspace (feat. Loco)" shows the impressive synergy between singer-songwriter Daniel Kang and hip-hop icon Loco.
As a retro synthpop track, it combines upbeat bass synths with a shimmering bell rhythm that provides the backdrop for the soft vocals characteristic of Kang Daniel songs together with rap verses prepared by Loco - resulting in an all-around track that's easy to listen to, even on loop.
Its digital single release was accompanied by a music video release, first released through the UNIVERSE app. The "Outerspace (feat. Loco)" music video was directed by Lee In-Hoon of SEGAJI VIDEO, who also worked on Baekhyun's "UN Village," NCT DREAM's "Candle Light," and Sam Kim's "Sun and Moon."
In the music video, director Lee creates a flawless mix of serious, noir sequences showing Kang Daniel as an agent as well as its bright and colorful dance routines.
"Outerspace (feat. Loco)" by Kang Daniel serves as the May release of the UNIVERSE Music series. The original content in partnership with the NCSoft and Klap K-pop fan interaction platform kicked off last January with IZ*ONE's "D-D-Dance."
It was followed by Jo Sumi and Rain's "Guardians" in February, Park Ji Hoon's "Call U Up (feat. LeeHi)," and (G)I-DLE's "Last Dance (Prod. GroovyRoom)" in April.
