BLACKPINK Rosé to Make Guest Appearance on JTBC's "The Sea of Hope"
According to an official from JTBC, they announced to Newsen on May 26 that BLACKPINK's New Zealand-born singer, Rosé, will be appearing as a guest on the channel's new entertainment program "The Sea of Hope."
"The Sea of Hope," which is directed by Song Gwang Jong, is a JTBC healing entertainment program that tells the story of numerous stars who show their own hand-selected music and homemade dishes at the live bar while overlooking the mysterious and beautiful sea.

There will also be customers, such as the guests, who will visit the romantic seaside bar each week, where the cast members will serve them delicious drinks, food and play a playlist that is expertly curated by the cast themselves to help them relax and escape from their daily lives.
The new program will be handled by the production crew of "Begin Again," and it is raising high expectations even before "The Sea of Hope" airs.
According to previous reports, Yoon Jong Shin, Lee Ji Ah, Lee Dong Wook, SHINee's Onew, Kim Go Eun, and Akdong Musician's Lee Soo Hyun will be appearing as cast members and as the management team who will work to make the best day for their guests. It is expected that they will be directly involved in all preparations for the seaside bar, such as the interior and operation, as well as the cooking and music for the guests.

Rosé's "On The Ground" Surpasses 100 Million Streams on Spotify
On March 12, the BLACKPINK member made her solo debut with her album, "R," which features the title track, "On The Ground." After the release of her album, Rosé went on to break records on numerous domestic and international charts, as well as on streaming platforms.
On May 23, just 72 days after the release of her album, "On The Ground" surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, making Rosé the fastest Korean female solo artist to reach the mark, while her song took the achievement as the fastest debut song by a Korean artist to surpass 100 million streams.
For the month of May, Rosé has 12 million monthly listeners with more than 700,000 followers.
