Global K-Pop stars MONSTA X dropped by the latest Audacy Check In, talking about their new album "One Of A Kind" and taking the opportunity to send a message to their beloved MONBEBE.
Members of the Starship Entertainment boy group Joohoney, Minhyuk, Kihyun, I.M, and Hyungwon excitedly shared details with show host Julia in their Audacy interview. Furthermore, the MONSTA X members took the opportunity to bond with their dedicated fanbase, MONBEBE, by choosing fan-submitted questions from Twitters and having the members answer them.
Of course, among the songs that the group was excited to tell everyone about was "GAMBLER," the lead track for "One Of A Kind." MONSTA X shares that the song was written in the hopes of inspiring listeners to take risks, especially for things that are important for them.
Group members recall jumping right into the song when Jooheoney presented it to them. The MONSTA X rapper wrote and arranged the song himself, which is suiting up nicely as a fan favorite shortly after it was released. The release of the album included a music video release for "GAMBLER," featuring the group's globally renowned performance set over a heist-themed story that highlights the members' acting skills. In the suspenseful music video, fans are left searching for symbols and hidden messages.
However, despite "GAMBLER" generating all the hype in the world, their answer to Julia's question of which song they connect with the most right now was unanimous. Their answer was "BEBE," a song especially written to show appreciation for their loyal fanbase. Julia led the excitement fans must feel toward the song, especially once they hear this song performed live. It led the Audacy Check In host to ask when MONSTA X will perform next. This, in the middle of the travel and in-person events following the global pandemic.
"My heart say[s], you can do it 100%," Minhyuk said, referring to his hopes of having a tour soon. The MONSTA X vocalist adds ""But my head [says] maybe 30%. They fight [each other]," before breaking into laughter
