All About Dream Concert 2021: What We Know So Far
Dream Concert is an annual joint K-pop concert hosted by KEPA since 1995. The event will be held this June 26, 2021, at Seoul World Cup Stadium, with 7SIX9 Entertainment as the official sponsor.
It decided to participate as an official sponsor to solidify the global status of K-pop, and to open a cultural window for K-pop fans blocked by COVID-19.
This year, the concert's purpose is to convey a message of hope and support around the world, despite the pandemic.
Initially, reports last May stated that they will be hosting the concert offline. This piqued the excitement of K-pop fans who have been waiting for the news after a year without seeing their idols physically.
Then, it was reported via Star News that the concert will be held online (On:tact).
Following the government's measures to ease the viewing of performances announced on June 11, the organizers decided to be careful not to interfere with the government's new social distancing reforms in July.
Concert tickets can be purchased through Interpark ticket starting June 15 at 2:00 p.m. KST.
