Prior to the release of "Hello," Joy released two prologues of "Hello," with the first being "Day by Day" and the second being "Be There For You."
According to Joy, the music video is a little different from their previous music videos released, as hers is more movie-like and shows scenes of what happened that lead up to the scenes in "Hello."

While talking about the prologues and "Hello," Wendy shares something that bothered her about Joy's music videos. "Honestly, I did not like that... the fact that she's in a relationship," to which Joy was surprised and laughed. Wendy added that as a fellow member of Red Velvet, she felt a little bit uncomfortable.
Wendy also adds that the "Hello" singer showed great acting, but she also felt uncomfortable watching "Be There For You." Joy continued to laugh and later explained that in "Be There For You," she was dating someone and having a happy time, but in "Hello," they broke up.
Upon learning that they broke up once again, Wendy immediately said "Nice!" and her mood instantly brightened!
Fans who saw the interaction and Wendy's reaction laughed at two, some commented how Wendy represented ReVeluv, Red Velvet's fandom, and that she's such a mood.

Joy Makes Solo Debut with Special Album "Hello"
Back on May 31, Joy made her solo debut with the launch of her special album "Hello," after seven years of being active in the entertainment industry as a member of Red Velvet.
Joy's solo album, "Hello," features a total of six remakes from songs that were originally released back in the 1990s, all the way to the 2000s. The remakes were said to be made to show Joy's own vocal style and musical color. The special album contains the tracks "Hello," "Je T'aime," "Day by Day," "If Only," "Happy Birthday to You," and "Be There For You."
"Hello" went on to peak at No.4 on Gaon's Album chart and at No.31 on Japan's Oricon chart.
