CIX has just released its own UNIVERSE Music, "TESSERACT" (Prod. Hui, Minit)," and fans might've missed what helped make it such a highly-anticipated release.
Prior to its release last July 1, 6 PM KST, "TESSERACT" (Prod. Hui, Minit), it was preceded by two music video teasers. Fans were treated to the Official Music Video Teaser (OBJECT Ver.) and the Official Music Video Teaser (CHAOS Ver.), released on June 28 and 30, respectively. Each video teased a different side to the actual music video and has captured fans in their own different way.

First was the Official Music Video Teaser (OBJECT Ver), released last June 28. The first 25-second trailer teases a sophisticated laboratory, complete with microscopes, flasks, and mathematical equations. The CIX members are slowly shown interacting with these pieces of lab equipment before the video abruptly cuts to show the title card and the release date schedule.
Two days later, the UNIVERSE platform released the Official Music Video TEASER (CHAOS ver.) across its social networking sites on June 30. A 23-second video, the second teaser appears more dynamic and engaging in contrast to the slower and more mysterious appeal presented in the first teaser video. Ten seconds into the video and fans see a sample of the choreography that appears in the "TESSERACT" (Prod. Hui, Minit), showing the five members performing in a variety of backdrops and significantly featuring the titular tesseract - the four-dimensional analog of the cube, the same way a cube is a higher-dimension analog of the square - shown here as a series of rapidly spinning series of concentric cubes. The five CIX members appear facing backward and curiously looking at the tesseract.
"TESSERACT" (Prod. Hui, Minit)" is a collaborative effort between CIX, PENTAGON member Hui, and South Korean producer and DJ Minit. It is the latest release under UNIVERSE Music, the platform for original tracks under the latest K-Pop fan interaction developed by NCSoft and Klap.
