With that said, Hanteo's "Global Authentication Chart" ranks albums that had the most authentication. Since the rankings are generally based on the fandoms' participation, this chart presents how big and active the artists' global fans are.
Hanteo Chart Reveals the Countries with Most Album Authentication in the First Half of 2021
On July 7, Hanteo Chart unveiled the Top 10 countries with the most K-pop album authentications as they buy the item.
The country with the highest authentication rate from January to June this year is the United States. It recorded 19.97%, which marked an increase of 16.98% compared to the first half of 2020. In the same period last year, the US also ranked first on the list.
After the US is Malaysia with 17.65% album authentication. This country was in seventh place on the list last year.
Following Malaysia is China with 10.30%, the Philippines with 7.23%, Thailand with 5.99%, France with 5.62%, Singapore with 4.87%, Russia with 4.59%, Japan with 3.03%, and Indonesia with 2.31%.

Other countries make up 18.45% of the whole amount of album authentications.
This result proves that K-pop is garnering more popularity in America and Europe, and has solidified its presence in Southeast Asia.
Hanteo Chart Unveils the Fandoms with Most Album Authentication in the First Half of 2021
According to Hanteo Chart, a total of 346 K-pop albums have been authenticated from January to June 2021.
Despite not releasing a new album in the first half of the year, BTS obtained the most authenticated albums with their previous releases. This means ARMY was the most active fandom in the past six months.
The album that was the most purchased and verified is "BE." In particular, "BE: DELUXE ED" sits at No. 1, and "BE: ESSENTIAL ED" comes in second.

Hanteo Chart revealed that the Top 3 countries from where BTS received much support are the United States, the Philippines, and Malaysia in exact order.
The fandom after ARMY is ATINY. ATEEZ had 9.94% of all the albums validated on the Hanteo Chart, and a big portion of it goes to "ZERO: FEVER Part. 2."
The Top 3 countries from where ATINYs with the most contributions are the United States, France, and Malaysia in exact order.
The third-most active fandom in authenticating albums on the Hanteo Chart is NCTzens. In particular, the album they bought the most is NCT Dream's "Hot Sauce."
The Top 3 countries from where NCTzens with the most participation are Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines in exact order.
