MONSTA X member Minhyuk continues his career as a long-time host of the Naver NOW show, "VogueShip Show," which has recently aired its 50th episode.
Through the radio show, which airs every Wednesday at 10 PM KST, Minhyuk has proved himself as the "next-generation MC idol." Appearing as the solo host, he took the opportunity to express his gratitude to everyone who was with him along the journey.
The "VogueShip Show," whose title is a play on the Korean phrase for "I miss you," presents a unique concept where the MONSTA X member gets the opportunity to talk with fans, listen to their stories, give advice, and finally create an artwork - some of the MC's own paintings are featured in the "Minhyuk's Atelier" segment.
Minhyuk has shown himself to be a sympathetic and quick-witted show host, being able to connect to the fans on a personal level and even provide tips that are surprisingly sensitive and specific to the listener's story.
Aside from his hosting stint with the "VogueShip Show," Minhyuk has also served as MC for the SBS music program "Inkigayo," sharing the MC role with Naeun of girl group April and Jaehyun of boy group NCT. He was also the MC for the latest KT Seezn show "Back to the Idol," together with Super Junior's Eunhyuk.
Through a statement released by Starship Entertainment, Minhyuk said: "Time doesn't feel fast. I met an artist who made me dream of becoming a singer while hosting the 'VogueShip Show,' and I think it was a good opportunity to promote myself and MONSTA X to the public. All the episodes and guests are memorable."
The next-generation MC idol adds: "I want to continue to have fun with good people."
Minhyuk continues to communicate with his fans through the "VogueShip Show" as well as the other content released by MONSTA X such as their vlog series "MonChannel."
