TMI News Reveals How Wealthy BTS RM Is As He Enters 'Stars Living in the Top 1% of Houses in South Korea' Rankings

BTS RM is truly the full-package idol you can ever wish for! From having an IQ of 148 and being the leader of the phenomenal K-pop boy group, he's also living in the top 1% of houses, proving his affluent life.

On July 14, Mnet's TMI News revealed the 13 Korean stars and celebrities who live in the top 1% of homes in South Korea.

The context is that being in the top 1% means that these homeowners purchased more expensive and exclusive homes than the 99% of their neighborhood.

BTS RM is the Only K-pop Idol Who Entered the Rankings for 'Korean Stars Living in the Top 1% of Houses'

Along with "K-Drama Giants" Jang Dong Gun, Song Joong Ki, Jun Ji Hyun, Lee Minho, Kim Soo Hyun, and many more, BTS RM is the only K-pop idol in the list of stars with houses in the Top 1%.

In the broadcast, TMI News reveals how rich BTS RM is, who purchased his new apartment unit by paying in full cash!

In June, it was revealed that the BTS leader purchased a 293.9 square meters real estate property. It was then revealed that RM purchased a unit in Nine One Hannam Complex, the neighborhood known as "Beverly Hills of Korea."

According to media reports, he paid the unit in cash without loans, which cost a staggering 6.36 billion won!

Prior to this, he also bought an apartment in the popular Hannam The Hill complex for about 4.9 billion won in 2019. A year after, he sold the house for 5.8 billion won, gaining a market return of 900 million won.

BTS RM's current home in Nine One Hannam is indeed not your ordinary apartment complex as high-profiled personalities can only live there.

Traditionally, the Hannam neighborhood is filled with families of large corporate CEOs, politicians, top sports stars, and celebrities. Some of the well-known stars living in Hannam are BIGBANG G-Dragon, Lee Jong Suk, and more.
