Big Hit Music has released an official statement regarding TXT's comeback, which is reportedly set to take place in August.

On July 15, SPO TV News reported that TXT is busy preparing for their comeback in August. A source from Big Hit Music gave a brief response to Top Star News, afterward.

According to SPO TV News, TXT will return in August with a new song.

In response to this, a source from Big Hit Music told Top Star News that nothing has been decided yet. They added that they will officially issue a press release once TXT's comeback is confirmed.

If later confirmed, the comeback will be just three months since the release of TXT's new album, "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" on May 31.

TXT has been breaking their own records with "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" and its title track "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) on major global charts in different countries like the United States, Japan, and Korea.

In particular, TXT's "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" recorded more than 670,000 in pre-orders alone, the most in history among K-pop idols in their third year of debut. It is currently ranked No. 18 on the list of highest pre-orders of all time.

Moreover, "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" obtained the sixth-highest first-week sales of any K-pop group on the Hanteo Chart in history. It even topped the Oricon Weekly Album Chart.

TXT has ranked first on the Oricon Chart for four consecutive years, becoming the fourth foreign singer and second foreign male artist in history to place No. 1 on the chart with four consecutive albums.

Over on the Billboard chart, TXT's "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" debuted at No. 5 on Billboard 200. It is the longest-running 2021 K-pop album on the chart.

Meanwhile, TXT's new album "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" has exceeded 100 million streams on Spotify on July 14.

"The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" is now TXT's fastest album to hit the mark on the platform. It only took 44 days before the album achieved the milestone.

"The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" is also now the fastest album by a fourth-generation group (without pre-released songs) to cross 100 million streams on Spotify.

The initial record for a fourth-generation group was set by Stray Kids' "GO LIVE," which reached 100 million streams in 84 days.

TXT's previous record was 210 days with "minisode1: Blue Hour." Their new record proves their incredible growth since all of their past albums attained 100 million streams on Spotify between 200 and 300 days.

All of TXT's albums since their debut have surpassed the 100-million mark on Spotify. They are the first and only fourth-generation group to achieve this feat.

Meanwhile, TXT's new title track "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)" featuring Seori has exceeded 34.6 million streams on Spotify as of July 13.

The B-side song, "Anti-Romantic," which is as popular as the title track, has more than 22.4 million streams as of July 13.
