On July 29, PRESSREELS via Korean news outlet Star News revealed the result of the 2021 "K-pop artist survey." According to the survey of artists conducted by global music group Reels Corporation, BTS topped the K-pop genre, accumulating 1.42 million points.
Aside from the global group, numerous artists from HYBE Corporation and the "Big 3" (SM, YG, and JYP) also entered the list, including BLACKPINK, Red Velvet, TWICE, SEVENTEEN, EXO, Stray Kids, and more.

The survey's scoring system followed the standard of Billboard, one of the world's most prestigious music charts. The scores were aggregated from January to early July.
As a result, the total score of K-pop artists is 3,248,492, and BTS holds 44.01% of the total proportion of K-pop genres in the U.S.
BLACKPINK came in second, who gained 250,000 points. Despite no comeback in the first half of 2021, the girl group maintained their outstanding performance in the K-pop genre.
Trailing behind BTS and BLACKPINK is also a lineup of star-studded groups, including TWICE who ranked at No. 3, followed by TXT (No. 4), Stray Kids (No. 5), ENHYPEN (No. 6), NCT 127 (No. 7), ATEEZ (No. 8), SEVENTEEN (No. 9) and ITZY (No. 10).
Meanwhile, rookie groups also dominated made it to the survey's Top 30, including aespa of SM Entertainment who ranked No. 25. STAYC at No. 26, and YG Entertainment's TREASURE at No. 29 – all three groups proving their positions as "Rookie Monsters."

HYBE, SM, YG, and JYP: Entertainment Agencies That Dominated Reels Corporation's 'K-pop Artist Survey'
According to the article, SM Entertainment ranked first with a total of eight teams in the entertainment rankings (based on the artists that entered the Top 30).
The artists' rankings were not specified, but NCT 127, EXO, Red Velvet, SHINee, NCT Dream, NCT U, aespa, and Super Junior made it to the rankings.
JYP Entertainment ranked second, wherein a total of four artists TWICE, Stray Kids, ITZY and Day6 entering the list.
Next is HYBE entertainment ranking third, thanks to BTS, TXT, and ENHYPEN.
YG Entertainment tied with HYBE after BLACKPINK, TREASURE and iKON also secured spots in the rankings.
RBW and Cube Entertainment tied in 4th place, with two teams each, followed by Starship, KQ, Pledis, Blockberry Creative, Dreamcatcher Company, Yuehua, J Planet, and High Up Entertainment, each with a team — a total of 14 companies that completed the Top 30 artists.
