3 BTS Music Videos are the Most Viewed on YouTube for Four Weeks in a Row

Three BTS music videos have been the most viewed among the K-pop MVs on YouTube for four consecutive weeks already. The boy group even achieved a milestone with one of the songs.

On Aug. 2, K-pop Radar released the Top 10 most-viewed music videos for Week 31, from July 25 to 31. BTS occupied a total of five spots on the list, including the first three places.

3 BTS Music Videos Have Been the Most Viewed on YouTube for Four Consecutive Weeks

Among the five BTS music videos on the Top 10 list of K-pop Radar, "Permission to Dance" has the most views within Week 31 of 2021, thus, taking first place.

BTS's "Permission to Dance" MV recorded a total of 25,913,780 views in only one week. The song has already spent four weeks in a row at No. 1.

K-pop Radar stated that this is the first time that BTS has been atop the Top 10 most-viewed K-pop MVs for four weeks straight with one song.

And, according to their YouTube analysis, BTS received a total of 472 million views over the past seven days. About 72 million of these views, or 15.2%, came from India, surpassing Japan, which has been the No. 1 country with the most contribution.

As of writing, BTS's "Permission to Dance" MV has accumulated more than 229.22 million views on YouTube.

After "Permission to Dance," BTS's "Butter" MV has the second most views over the past week. The song has also spent four weeks in a row at No. 2 on the Top 10 most-viewed K-pop MVs of K-pop Radar.

"Butter" accumulated 13,469,636 views on YouTube from July 25 to 31. As of press time, the music video has reached more than 493.50 million views.

Sitting at No. 3 on K-pop Radar's Top 10 most-viewed K-pop MVs for Week 31 is BTS's "Dynamite," which has spent four consecutive weeks in its place on the list.

The "Dynamite" MV had 8,817,927 views within the last week of July 2021. As it continues to gain more views on YouTube, the music video is about to reach 1.2 billion views.

In addition to "Permission to Dance," "Butter," and "Dynamite," the other BTS music videos on the Top 10 list is "MIC Drop" (Steve Aoki Remix) at No. 5 with 7,981,812 views and "Boy With Luv" at No. 10 with 6,146,351 views.

BTS "Butter" Becomes the Longest-Running No. 1 Song on the Billboard Hot 100 This 2021

In other news, BTS's "Butter" is also doing well on the Billboard chart, especially on Hot 100.

On Aug. 2 local time, Billboard announced that "Butter" has again claimed the No. 1 spot on the popular Hot 100 chart, marking its ninth consecutive week on the tally.

Because of this, BTS's "Butter" is now the longest-running No. 1 song this 2021 on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Butter" surpassed the record of eight weeks set by Olivia Rodrigo's "Driver's License."
