SuperJunior Turn Heads In Taiwan

Super Junior has had yet another sign that they have power outside where they are from. In the news in Taiwan, a restaurant felt the need to get a complete renovation due to the fact that the group will be visiting the island country very shortly.

The restaurant is decorated with a number of different collections of merchandise from the group’s earlier promotion for their former single “Mr. Simple.” They even went as far as putting up Super Junior’s freshly pressed SS4 Taiwan posters. The group will be making an appearance in Taiwan to perform four shows from February 2nd to the 5th at the Taipei Arena, which is for the ‘Super Show 4’ World Tour.

The storeowner admitted that the change of scenery has increased the activity in his store.

“Every day, there’s definitely been a fivefold increase of traffic here.”

According to some reports, the restaurant is constantly filled and the staff is constantly picking up phone calls to book reservations.

In addition, Kyuhyun’s dad has gained some attention for opening a cram school in Taipei called U.P.I. Academy, which will be dedicated to helping Korean students in Taiwan. Admission will be choosy because of the fact that the school will require a basic knowledge of Korean with a bare minimum of 2,000 words. This language academy is slated to open on February 3rd, which is significant because this is the same day as Kyuhyun’s birthday.

If you’re in Taipei and are interested in visiting this restaurant, it can be found at No.2, Sec. 4, Nanjing E. Road in the Songshan District, Taipei 105.
