Golden Child 'Ra Pam Pam' Reaches 20 Million Views, 'GAME CHANGER' Ranks on iTunes Charts
Golden Child's newest music video "Ra Pam Pam," released last August 2 with their latest album "GAME CHANGER," surpassed 20 million views on August 6 at 6:30 a.m. KST.
The boy band has seen steady growth in their popularity, both in South Korea and abroad, with their most recent releases. For instance, "GAME CHANGER" entered the top 5 in over 11 countries on iTunes.
As of writing, on the website's Top K-Pop Album Chart, it reached No. 1 in Turkey, No. 2 in Israel & Thailand, No. 3 in Australia, Singapore, USA, Spain, Indonesia & Malaysia, and No. 5 in Canada and Hong Kong.
To further promote their new single, Golden Child has embarked on a series of showcase performances for the past few days, including stage presentations on Mania TV and Pickcon.
Golden Child's "Ra Pam Pam" speaks of the protagonist seeking to protect his love interest in the face of adversary and darkness, with its title being an onomatopoeic representation of his beating heart.

And, true to the lyrics' message, the music video concept of "Ra Pam Pam" revolves around the band members being the last surviving members of a planet, wrought by a great alien apocalypse.
The band, then, bravely attempts to save the world from the intergalactic invaders, whatever the cost.
Golden Child Releases New Album 'GAME CHANGER'
"GAME CHANGER" is Golden Child's first full-length album release since Re-boot in 2019. With this new album, Golden Child wishes to live up to the album's name by reinventing their sound and becoming a game changer of the K-pop milleu.
In addition, the band also wants to uplift their listeners with songs centered on home and resilience in challenging times. Their new album consists of eleven tracks, with "Ra Pam Pam" as its opening song.
They initially were supposed to perform in concerts last July in Seoul, but new and rising cases of COVID-19 unfortunately postponed them.
Nonetheless, this provided them with the opportunity to work on their latest LP and develop themselves as musicians.

Prior to "GAME CHANGER," they released their EP Yes last January, with its lead single "Burn It" charting in the top 10 in over 11 countries on iTunes, including Thailand, the Philippines,Turkey, Australia, and the US.
