Legend Elton John Sings and Dances BTS' 'Permission to Dance'

As the nights get colder, BTS' hit song "Permission to Dance" continues to get a lot of love from fans all over the world, even from world-renowned legends!

Back on July 19, BTS and Youtube launched the "Permission to Dance" challenge, where fans and content creators are sharing their own versions of performing BTS latest hit song through Youtube Shorts - the video streaming platform's newly launched short-form video experience. Since then, thousands of people having been joining the challenge.

Most recently, legendary singer and performer, Elton John, joined in on the BTS fun! In the early hours of August 7, Elton John shared his own version of the "Permission to Dance" challenge through Youtube Shorts.

He accompanies his challenge with the caption "When it all seems like it's right, I sing along to @bangtantv," a play on BTS' original lyrics "When it all seems like it's wrong, just sing along to Elton John."

Fans who saw Elton John's video were ecstatic to see the English singer-songwriter participating in the challenge.

Not only that, but Elton John also shared a short cover of the song on Twitter.

Elton John sang the line, "When the nights get colder, and the rhythms got you falling behind," followed by thanking BTS and expressing his love to ARMY - BTS' fandom.

It seems that legendary singer's short cover was a response to BTS' previous post, where RM shared a video of him singing his line that mentions Elton John. At the end of the video, RM also swiped the camera as if passing on the microphone to Elton John and tagging him in the post.

And just a few hours later, Elton John continued singing the song through his own version!

Fans were definitely happy to hear Elton John singing "Permission to Dance," even if it's just one line.

North Korean Teenagers Caught Listening to BTS, Being Investigated

After being caught listening to BTS, a group of North Korean teenagers are currently being investigated.

According to media outlets back on August 5, a group of high school students in North Korea were caught dancing and singing to a song by BTS, to which they are now being investigated. The students are reportedly from Anju Middle School, and were caught singing "Blood Sweat & Tears."

They were then reported to local North Korea's Workers' Party and are being investigated for engaging in "reactionary ideology and culture," which goes against North Korea's laws.

Media outlets also report that the students are trainees for Red Youth Guard, one of North Korea's militia organizations for teenagers.

According to several reports, BTS is popular among North Koreans for their lyrics about self-love.
