Kim Yerim is showing off her acting chops on "Shut Up: Flower Boy Band!", a popular Korean drama. Her character is a top class singer. Producers for "Shut Up: Flower Boy Band!" always loved Kim Yerim and are elated that she is joining the cast. The new season premieres on January 30^th and her character is debuting in the 6^th episode. Producers revealed that Kim Yerim’s character is based on her real- life characteristics.

Yerim is excited about her new acting role, but she does say, "I am still in the process of making a name for myself as a singer so I was a bit worried about whether I was being too ambitious with taking on acting as well. Still, I thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to show who I am and take on new opportunities. My co-stars are also the same age as me so I can learn a lot from them."

Although this is Yerim’s first drama role, she is no stranger to television. She was a first class contestant on "Super Star K3." She is excited about working with people her own age and can’t wait to learn more about acting. "Shut Up: Flower Boy Band!" is about rebellious high school students. The storyline is jam packed with dating, friendship drama, and an awesome band.
