BLACKPINK will once again set the stage on fire as the quartet marks its second appearance on Japan's "Music Station" this August! Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa — who just recently dropped the Japanese version of their first full-length album are also said to perform their hit track, "Lovesick Girls," drawing anticipation.

On August 20, BLACKPINK will showcase a sizzling performance for the second time on TV Asahi's "Music Station," the representative music show in Japan.

This is to commemorate the quartet's successful release of "The Album," (Jp ver.), a Japanese counterpart of its Korea's first studio album.

BLACKPINK to Flaunt Charm on Japan's 'Music Station' with 'Lovesick Girls' (JP Ver.) Stage

According to YG Entertainment on the 14th, BLACKPINK will appear on TV Asahi's "Music Station," (hereinafter 'MSTE') on August 20.

On the official announcement released by the agency, the group comprised of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will decorate the stage with "Lovesick Girls-JP Ver," and will also talk about its full-length album's Japanese version "THE ALBUM," which was dropped in the country on the 3rd.

In particular, "MSTE" is a popular music program in Japan for 35 years. It is considered an essential course for popular overseas pop stars in Japan.

As the current "Biggest Girl Group in the World," it is actually not the first time, but the second time BLACKPINK has appeared on the show since October 2019, when they successfully finished their first world tour.

The attention of K-pop enthusiasts and BLINKs (fandom of BLACKPINK) is focused on what kind of performance will attract Japanese viewers who have not been on music shows recently.
