Space Audi's "K-Pop Radar," a start-up that specializes in music, has finally provided a place for K-Pop artists and fans to communicate through their expanded metaverse service "Ifland."
K-Pop Radar Expands its Metaverse
Last August 19, the K-Pop fandom data observer "K-Pop radar" had the chance to announce "Artist of the Month" and "Rookie of the Month" with over 100 fans through SKT's metaverse "Ifland."
K-Pop radar has been selecting and announcing artists who have recorded remarkable growth since 2019. They are doing this by synthesizing fandom data like the rate of increase in monthly music video views and the increase of followers on official SNS.
SKT is preparing the synergy of the metaverse in the entertainment industry. And now, SKT has started supporting it. One thing is they created a dedicated space for the "K-Pop radar" within the metaverse service "Ifland."
Soon, K-Pop Radar will be announcing the "Artist of the Month" and "Rookie of the Month" through the "K-Pop Radar Room" provided in "Ifland: every month and the artists will definitely have a good time with their fans.

K-Pop Radar Announces the First 'Artist of the Month' and 'Rookie of the Month' through 'Ifland'
During the first "K-Pop Radar - Artist of the Month Presentation," Taeyeon was selected as the "Artist of the Month."
Taeyeon's single "Weekend" has recorded another development, exceeding 10 million views at a speed of 7.8 times faster than the other single released prior to it. The number of Instagram followers also increased by over 280,000 in just a month. Also, SNS indicators also showed a remarkable growth, it achieved a cumulative 16.72 million followers. Taeyeon stated that it has been 14 years since she was active, but she is still able to deliver good news to everyone thanks to her fans who love and support her all this time.

Then, Just B was selected as the "Rookie of the Month." It is a six-member boy group that debuted in June, their debut song "DAMAGE" has reached 10 million views in 174 hours since its release. It achieved a record that is not like a rookie.
Particularly, during the "K-Pop Radar - Artist of the Month Presentation," Just B members Lim Ji-Min and Gun-Woo showed as avatars and then had a precious time with their fans.
Lim Ji-Min, Just B's leader, stated that he thinks it is more meaningful that Just B is the pioneer awardee of K-Pop Radar's Rookie of the Month.
Gunwoo also mentioned his thanks to ONLY B (Just B's Fandom name) for always supporting them, he also hopes that they can be together for a long time.

With this expansion, K-Pop Radar is continuously developing its symbolism into the exclusive space within the SKT metaverse after its official partnership with Twitter Korea.In K-Pop radar, the fans can check the trend of real-time music video views as well as the number of official Twitter, Instagram followers, and also the official fan cafe members in a graph.
On the other hand, in June 2020, Space Audi released a K-Pop fandom app called "Duckmate, Blip in my hand." It solves the inconvenience of K-Pop fans when they are selecting their favorite idols to be on the top or to be nominated.
