ENHYPEN member Jake, who was previously diagnosed with COVID-19, has finally recovered from the infectious virus.
On Sept. 8, Jake posted a message on the global fan community platform Weverse, revealing his current health status after testing positive for COVID-19.
Jake is one of the six ENHYPEN members who contracted the virus after one official who was present at the production site was confirmed positive.

In the post ENHYPEN member Jake made on Weverse, the "Given-Taken" singer said that he has recovered from COVID-19 and has been discharged.
Jake continued that the other ENHYPEN members are doing well, and he thinks they will also be discharged soon from the treatment facility. He concluded his message by saying, "ENHYPEN fighting!"
ENHYPEN Jake was the first member of the boy group to test positive for COVID-19. During his self-quarantine, he started showing symptoms of the virus including coughing and a fever on Aug. 29.

Jake then underwent PCR testing and was found positive for the coronavirus on the morning of Aug. 30.
After Jake, four more ENHYPEN members (Sunghoon, Jungwon, Heeseung, and Jay) have also been diagnosed with COVID-19. And then Ni-ki is the latest member to test positive.
ENHYPEN entered into pre-emptive self-quarantine on Aug. 26 after discovering the confirmed COVID-19 case on a production site where they went to.

ENHYPEN Cancels Appearance on KCON:TACT HI 5 + to Attend the 2021 The Fact Music Awards
Since most of the ENHYPEN members tested positive for COVID-19, it was decided that the boy group will no longer participate in the upcoming KCON:TACT HI 5, which is set to take place from Sept. 18 to 26.
The septet was supposed to appear for the Sunday show, Sept. 19, but after Belift Lab considering the condition of the artists and the COVID-19-related self-quarantine schedule, they have decided to cancel ENHYPEN's appearance.

The new K-pop boy group previously took part in KCON:TACT 3, which was held from March 20 to 28.
In other news, ENHYPEN was announced as one of the artists who will be attending the upcoming 2021 The Fact Music Awards, which will be held online on Oct. 2.
ENHYPEN will be joining other artists such as BTS, SEVENTEEN, Oh My Girl, Stray Kids, STAYC, Super Junior, The Boyz, and more.

This will be the rookie group's second appearance on The Fact Music Awards, following last year's event.
At that time, ENHYPEN took home one of the "Next Leader" awards, together with Weeekly and CRAVITY.
Meanwhile, Belift Lab previously announced that ENHYPEN was preparing to make a comeback later this month, though it is now unclear whether their return will go as planned or they will have to adjust the plan.
ENHYPEN has released two albums so far this year. The first one is their second EP "BORDER: CARNIVAL," released in April, and the second one is their Japanese debut single album "BORDER: Hakanai" dropped in July.
