If You’re A Krusty Burger Heavy User, You Can Stop Off for A Greasy Bite At Universal Orlando, Wash It Down At Moe’s Tavern (Video)

Krusty Burger opens at Universal Orlando. Yes, those greasy, almost lethal snacks that keep Homer Simpson in shape, will be available at Universal Orlando as part of the miniature town being built around the new Simpsons ride. Simpsons fans will also be able to sip tea with Lisa Simpson at Lisa’s Teahouse of Horrors, grab a chicken sandwich at Cletus’ Chickn Shack or a nice cool Duff Beer or a “Flaming Moe” (the secret ingredient is cough syrup) at Moe’s Tavern.

And they’ll be served up by Krusty the Clown and his nefarious sidekick, Sideshow Bob.

Springfield comes to Orlando as The Simpsons’ landmarks pop up in the theme park’s food court. Along "Fast Food Boulevard" you can also enjoy the culinary Cuisinart of “The Frying Dutchman,” “Luigi's Pizza,” and “Lard Lad Donuts.”

In a statement, Universal Creative President Mark Woodbury said “This will be a must-see experience for Simpsons’ fans all over the world. For the first time ever, they’re going to be able to enter a world that they’ve only seen on television, and we’re really excited to bring that world to life.”

Denise Sirkot, president of Worldwide Brand and Gracie Films, said that Krusty and Sideshow Bob would also be on hand to greet people at the new restaurant, “It has been an honor to bring the world of the Simpsons to life in such a letter-perfect way. Truly, this is the Krustyest place on earth.”

Krusty Burger’s menu will include such tasty gut busters as the Krusty Burger and the Clogger Burger. Springfield food critics once raved about the Clogger, “If you can find a greasier sandwich, you’re in Mexico.”
