Mnet Accused of Already Having Casted Dancers Despite Ongoing 'Street Girls Fighter' Auditions
This year, Mnet broadcasted their first-ever all-female dance crew survival program, "Street Woman Fighter," which featured a total of eight dance crews competing for the top spot.
The program has since then seen an unprecedented rise in popularity, with numerous of the program's dancers also seeing success from their appearance.
Following the program's success, Mnet decided to produce a spin-off featuring female dancers who are currently in high school, called "Street Girls Fighter." With that, they are now holding auditions to recruit dancers for the program.

However, one user on the popular community forum, Pann Nate, has accused Mnet of already having casted dancers for the program despite its ongoing auditions on October 17.
According to the user's post titled "Street Woman Fighter sequel accusing Street Girls Fighter of corruption," they are allegedly a high school student who is preparing to audition for "Street Girls Fighter." However, they have been made aware that Mnet is trying to recruit dancers from famous art high schools and that they have preferential treatment.
They added that Mnet had given art high schools a notice in advance prior to releasing the official schedule for open auditions to the public.

The user also included a screenshot of a conversation between her and an acquaintance, who said they "think they're going to Noze's team" and have already talked to the program's writer, raising the accusation that the program has already cast dancers but still have ongoing auditions, and criticized Mnet for being unfair.
Mnet Responds to Accusations
Following the accusations of preferential treatment and already having casted dancers, Mnet released an official statement on October 18.
According to Mnet, there are no dancers that have been cast already or that there is a preference for a specific school. In addition, they are currently holding open recruitment for female high school students who dream of becoming dancers, and that all applications are being processed and screened in the same way.

Meanwhile, "Street Girls Fighter" is has been holding auditions since October 14, with auditions ending on October 24. While "Street Woman Fighter" is heading to the finale, with the eighth episode to premiere on October 19. The program's ninth and final episode will be on October 26, KST.
