'Street Woman Fighter' Producer Reveals Hopes for a Male Version of the Show 'Street Man Fighter'

Back on October 29, Mnet held the final press conference for the all-female dance crew survival show, "Street Woman Fighter." The press conference was attended by the show's producers CP Kwon Young Chan and PD Choi Jeong Nam, as well as the leaders Noze of WAYB, Lee Jung of YGX, Hyojin Choi of WANT, and Monika of Prowdmon.

During the press conference, CP Kwon Young Chan revealed his plans to produce a second season of the highly successful show, but this time, a male version called "Street Man Fighter."

"I am discussing with PD Choi Jeong Nam to show the dances, dramas, and stories of male dancers," CP Kwon Young Chan said.

However, CP Kwon Young Chan said that nothing has been decided for "Street Man Fighter" and that it is merely just an idea.

He also revealed that he has heard rumors of a possible second season of "Street Woman Fighter" in the dance scene, but nothing has been confirmed.

When it comes to other broadcasting stations doing producing similar shows as "Street Woman Fighter," he expressed his delight and said that having a lot of dance programs is welcomed.

"We plan to show the power of Mnet's originality with the second season," he added.

PD Choi Jeong Nam also said she is currently not thinking about anything else right now, other than thinking about how to bring in different elements for a possible season two.

Regarding the sequel of "Street Woman Fighter" called "Street Girls Fighter," which will feature female dancers who are currently in high school, the producers said that they decided to continue the show given its unprecedented popularity in South Korea.

'Street Woman Fighter' Crowns HolyBang as Final Winner

Meanwhile, back on October 26, "Street Woman Fighter" broadcasted its final episode, which announced the final rankings of the remaining four dance crews: HolyBang, LACHICA, Coca N Butter, and HOOK.

After nine episodes and eight missions, HolyBang came out as the champion on the show, beating HOOK who came at second place. For the third and fourth spot, Coca N Butter and LACHICA took the spots, respectively.

As for the dance crews who were eliminated from the show prior to the final episode, YGX came in at 5th place, Prowdmon at 6th place, WANT at 7th place, and WAYB at 8th place.
