ITZY to Perform on TV Asahi's 'Music Station' and Nippon TV's 'Sukkiri' for the First Time
TV Asahi's long-running music program "Music Station" announced through their official social media that JYP Entertainment's top girl group, ITZY, will be making a special appearance for the first time on the program.
"Music Station," which is Japan's most popular music program for the past 35 years since its first broadcast in October 1986, will welcome ITZY as they decorate the stage with the Japanese version of their hit song "Wannabe" on November 12 local time.
"Wannabe," which was released back in March 2020 as part of their second mini-album "It'z Me," is a fusion of house, hip-hop, and bubblegum-pop melodies. Produced and written by Galactika, "Wannabe" features the message "I am precious as I am," which is showing one's own color and identity without being bound by other people's standards.
