BTS's stylists are drawing criticism for allowing the group to walk the American Music Awards (AMAs) red carpet in wrinkled suits. Keep on reading for all the details.

BTS Stylists Draws Criticism for Wrinkled Suits at the American Music Awards (AMAs)

On November 21, BTS fired up the American Music Awards (AMAs) red carpet, making their first appearance at an overseas award show in two years. However, while BTS themselves was praised for their stunning visuals, their stylists drew criticism due to the state of their outfits on the red carpet.

BTS wore black and grey suits from Louis Vuitton's Spring 2022 Menswear Collection at the AMAs. While the outfits did draw praise for leaning into Korean influences, many were upset that the suits did not enhance the physique of the seven members of BTS.

Some people believe that BTS was wearing the wrong size due to how baggy and long the pants were. For some members, such as RM and J-Hope, the pants leg reaches the soles of the shoes. Additionally, the pants legs of their trousers were all wrinkled. People say it looks like BTS's stylists did not bother to iron their clothes and allowed them to go on the red carpet with sloppy clothing.

Since it has been a long time since BTS has come to the United States to attend an award show, many were left disappointed by their red carpet look. Some of the comments left by internet users include, "This outfit makes their legs look so short. Just let them wear basic suits," "Change their hairdresser, makeup artist, and stylist," "The pants look so bad, but at least BTS is handsome," and "Looks like I am not the only one who finds it difficult to understand the stylist. The pants are wide, long, and wrinkled."

However, some international supporters defended BTS's stylists. According to some global internet users, the pants fabric is naturally thin, which will wrinkle while moving. The design itself is also naturally long and wide. As BTS is Louis Vuitton's global brand ambassador, the members are wearing their clothing to promote the collection.

BTS Stylists Slammed for Ill-fitting Clothes

This is not the first time BTS's stylists were under fire for ill-fitting clothing. Back in December 2020, the stylists were under fire for BTS's sloppy styling in their Time Magazine "Entertainer of the Year" cover. People noted that Jimin's blazer was too long and crumpled by his shoulder in the photo. Meanwhile, Jin's blazer is too oversized for him. Jimin's shoes were also noticeably too big for him.
