Adele Turns Down Rolling Stones And Mick Jagger; Will Not Be Performing With Them In Hyde Park Next Month [Video]

Adele has been rumored to perform with the Rolling Stones in Hyde Park when they take the stage next month, but conflicting reports from both camps casts the dream pairing in doubt and it seems that Adele has turned down the opportunity.

The Sun reported that the Rolling Stones had Adele on the top of their list for female performers they'd like to share the stage with.

The source said, Adele's presence would be a "massive coup, even for them," since her new baby Angelo James has taken up most of her time these days.

The inside source continued, saying, "She is the name they want to announce as their special guest... at the minute it's 50/50 that she'll do it, but Mick is quietly confident he can pull it off. They want to make the Hyde Park shows a highlight of their tour, and her appearing would make it really special."

But that's debatable now.

The Rolling Stones told the Guardian today that Adele will not be joining them on-stage. Whether that's because they reached out to her and she said no, or they never reached out to her in the first place, is pure conjecture.

But since the Stones seemed so amped to have Adele join them, it stands to reason Adele rejected the Rolling Stones' overtures to join them on stage next month when they perform at England's Hyde Park.

The Rolling Stones have had a string of top shelf female guests join them on stage over the last two months, including Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.

Here the Rolling Stones perform with Katy Perry:

And here's Taylor Swift singing a duet with Mick:

It's also rumored that Lady Gaga and Florence Welch are reported to be two of their upcoming guests.

But it seems like Adele would rather stay home with new baby Angelo James rather than share the Hyde Park stage with Mick and Keith of the Rolling Stones.

Priorities, we suppose, but we couldn't helping thinking Adele and the Rolling Stones "COULD HAVE HAD IT ALL…"
