IVE Records Highest First-Week Sales Among Debut Albums by Girl Groups with 'ELEVEN'
On December 10 KST, South Korea's largest album aggregation site Hanteo Chart announced that Starship Entertainment's rookie girl group, IVE, had recorded a first-week sales figure of 152,229 album copies sold for their debut single album, "ELEVEN," which was released back on December 1.
In particular, IVE's "ELEVEN" album also showed incredible performance by recording the highest first-week sales figure among all the debut albums released by girl groups. In addition to that, they also have the highest first-week sales among rookie groups that debuted in 2021.
With this album, IVE showed off their "monster rookie" position by entering within the Top 3 of Hanteo Chart's weekly physical album chart for the first week of December.
Currently, IVE is garnering attention within the K-Pop industry, both domestic and international, for their splendid record despite only being officially active as a group for nine days.

IVE's Success Nine Days After Debut
Their album "ELEVEN," also took a spot within the Top 10 on major domestic music sites such as MelOn, Genie Music, Bugs, and even entered the world's largest streaming platform, Spotify's Global 200 chart.
And on China's largest music platform QQ Music, "ELEVEN" took the No. 5 spot on their global debut chart and daily chart.
IVE also snagged a spot on other international charts, such as on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart, where they ranked at No. 12. Over on Billboard's Hot Trending Songs chart, IVE's title track of the same name, "ELEVEN," took the top spot.

Over in Japan, IVE's album ranked at No. 7 on Line Music's overall daily chart and at No. 3 on the daily K-Pop chart.
Recently on December 8, IVE appeared on MBC's music program "Show! Music Core," where they made their debut performance with "ELEVEN."
On the same show, IVE took home their first-ever first place trophy, earning them the title of "Super speed No. 1," after they won the trophy just seven days after their debut.
With IVE already making headlines and breaking numerous records, it can be expected that they will only get bigger from here on out!
Meanwhile, IVE consists a total of six members: former IZ*ONE members Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin, Liz, Gaeul, Leeseo, and Japanese member Rei.
