On Dec. 15, the Facebook page Idol Issue released two images together with the caption, "Crush and Joy's pictures uploaded to Joy's second Instagram account today."
The first photo is a close-up shot of Joy and Crush while the second one is a picture of a meal alongside heart hands. The images will not be included in the article out of respect to the couple.

The post received various reactions from netizens, a few of which stated that there's a rumor saying Red Velvet Joy's private Instagram account leaked online because of the idol's acquaintance. Others say that someone hacked the account.
These speculations resulted in many fans of the Red Velvet member expressing their anger at her anonymous friend both on Facebook and Twitter.

As of writing, the Facebook post containing the photos of Red Velvet Joy and Crush together has garnered 14,000 reactions, over 2,500 comments and 1,500 shares. Most of the comments say that the post should be taken down and called for the couple's privacy to be respected.
Meanwhile, Joy and Crush confirmed they were dating in August this year. It was reported that they developed into lovers while maintaining their friendship after working together in May last year on the single "Mayday."

In other news, Joy participated in Red Velvet's highly-anticipated comeback in August this year. The quintet dropped their sixth Korean EP "Queendom," which contains six songs of various genres including the title track, also called "Queendom."
"Queendom" is Red Velvet's first music release in one year and seven months since their fifth compilation album "The ReVe Festival: Finale" came out in December 2019.
At the time of its release, "Queendom" peaked at No. 2 on the weekly Gaon Album Chart and peaked at No. 4 on the monthly album chart. It also scored No. 11 on Billboard's World Albums Chart and hit No. 23 on Japan's Oricon Chart.

In South Korea, Red Velvet's Queendom has been certified platinum by Gaon after selling more than 367,000 copies. The album impressively sold 207,399 total copies in just the first week - nearly tripling the group's previous first-week sales record of 71,431 copies achieved by their 2019 mini-album "The ReVe Festival: Day 1."
Regarding the latest music releases of Red Velvet Joy's boyfriend, Crush, he dropped his fourth EP "with HER" in October 2020, one month ahead of his military enlistment.
"with HER" includes his collab track "Let Me Go" with Girls' Generation Taeyeon. Crush took part in the composition and lyrics of the song. The other tracks in the album feature other artists such as Lee Hi, BIBI, Lee Sora and Yoon Mi Rae. In the first week of release, Crush's "with HER" sold almost 4,000 copies.
