State of Decay Hits Xbox Marketplace; The Zombie Survival Game Delayed In Australia [TRAILER]

State of Decay, a zombie survival horror game can now be purchased on Xbox Live Marketplace. However, it is not available yet in Australia.

The third-person zombie game, State of Decay, hit the market on Wednesday, June 5. The general goal of this game from the developer, Undead Labs is fairly simple: players need to survive in an open world that is filled with nasty, wicked flesh and brain-eating zombies.

State of Decay, which shares several resemblances to a famous PC game, DayZ, although supporting single player mode only, is currently garnering positive and strong reviews from its players. Out of a hundred perfect score, the game now has 81 points from its critics. Furthermore, popular tech and game sites have already shared their opinions and reviews about State of Decay.

Average Toaster gave its review for State of Decay, saying, "This game was a blast, it was more another person's try on dead rising or a Day z for people who don't like to watch paint dry. For the price you are getting a great deal."

According to Riobased, the game is mind blowing, saying "Such a fun game to play! So much content and things to do and the fact that it's an Xbox Live Arcade game blows my mind. A must get for all zombie fans. Something original, fresh and and new,"

Though many Xbox Live users can already experience and enjoy the game, it is reported that State of Decay is not yet available for Australian players because its classification is still pending. A representative from Microsoft gave a statement about the game's market status in the land down under. "State of Decay is not yet available in Australia, as it's still waiting for classification from the classification board. As soon as that's done you will be able to get your hands on it," the representative explained.
