Former KARA Member Young Ji Reveals She is Preparing an Album
Former KARA member Young Ji, who now actively promotes with her full name Hur Young Ji, recently made a guest appearance on the December 15 broadcast of MBC's variety show "South Korean Foreigners," which features comedians Park Myung Soo and Kim Yong Man, and model Han Hyun Min as the hosts.
On this day, the former KARA member had updated the cast and guests of what she has been up to lately, and revealed that she is actually been preparing for a new album.
"I am planning on release a new album once the COVID-19 pandemic is over. I am busily preparing for it at this moment," Young Ji said.
Young Ji also added that she loves to do a lot of things, such as working as a radio show and television host, as an actress, and many others. However, it has been a while since she worked as a singer again, and expresses her desire to once again return to singing.
Young Ji Reveals KARA's Desire to Reunite for a Performance
Hearing this, host Kim Yong Man mentioned how several K-Pop groups that have disbanded are reuniting again these days, and asks Young Ji if KARA has any plans to do the same.
"A lot of K-Pop groups that have disbanded are getting together nowadays, are you guys [KARA] discussing about that at all?" Asked Kim Yong Man.
He also wondered if Young Ji keeps frequent contact with the rest of the KARA members.

Young Ji responded, saying, "Ah yes, we do keep in touch with each other quite often. I even went to see Gyuri's musical the other day. We are still very close."
Regarding the reunion, Young Ji revealed that the members want to reunite for another performance. "We all desperately want to reunite for another performance. Like, we really want it from the bottom of our hearts. I hope that our hopes will lead to good news in the future," Young Ji said.

KARA first made their debut back in March 2007, and through the years, the group had lineup changes. After nine years of promoting, the group officially disbanded in January 2016, with the final lineup consisting of Young Ji, Gyuri, Seungyeon, and the late Hara.
