Michael Jackson's teenage daughter Paris Jackson tried killing herself because she was upset that she wasn't allowed to go to rock musician Marilyn Manson's Los Angeles concert on Thursday night, according to Entertainment.

While 15-year-old Paris Jackson was also overwhelmed with sadness over the loss of her father coupled with ongoing relationship quandaries, her mother's decision to ban her from going to the concert sparked a fuse.

Paris Jackson's mother, Debbie Rowe, didn't want her daughter going to the Marilyn Manson concert on a school night.

As a result, Paris Jackson cut her wrists and took overdosed on drugs, according to numerous reports.

"That might have been the straw that broke the camel's back, but there have been problems long before this," a course close to Paris Jackson told FOX411's Pop Tarts column.

"The Jackson kids never really got the professional help they needed after Michael died, and they need it. This incident is going to go one of two ways - it will either be a wakeup call to Katherine [their grandmother and legal guardian] or it is only going to get worse." 

Once Rowe told her daughter that she couldn't attend the concert, Paris reportedly rushed up to her room while screaming and slammed the door, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Rowe has been in full custody of Paris Jackson since her father passed away almost four years ago.

Paris Jackson's mother is also trying to file a court motion to ascertain custody of all of the Jackson children, according to Fox News.
