MOAs can now communicate with Yeonjun better as on January 6, the TXT (TOMORROW X TOGETHER) member finally opened his personal Instagram account!

Firstly, he greeted fans by posting, "Hi," along with a picture of him sitting on the staircase. His username is "yawnzzn."

Yeonjun is currently only following the official Instagram account of TXT.

As expected, Yeonjun's number of followers has been growing rapidly in just a short period since his Instagram launch, and it currently has over 2.9 million followers!

As of now, it is not yet known whether his fellow members Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai will open their accounts soon.

This is the first time that a member from TXT opened his personal social media account since the group's debut four years ago.

TXT is under the management of HYBE, along with worldwide K-pop boy group BTS. The latter group opened their Instagram accounts last December, which sparked delight from global fans.

It is now assumed that the agency finally allowed their artists to open and communicate through their social media accounts.

K-Pop Idols and Social Media Accounts

In December 2021, BTS members gave an early Christmas gift to their fans as each member opened their personal Instagram accounts.

Prior to this, the boys shared only one social media account, managed by Big Hit.

This is the common case for a lot of idol groups. The group has only one official social media account which is shared by all the members and they take turns in posting updates or photos.

Furthermore, fans of other K-pop groups have been expressing their thoughts on why other groups like TWICE open their social media accounts as well. So far, its members are sharing an official account and are taking turns in posting their selfies.

Meanwhile, other K-pop groups like BLACKPINK, Red Velvet, EXO, and BTS already have their members open their accounts.

The activity of opening a personal social media account lets a K-pop idol express their true personalities. Aside from that, it lets the fans of each idol see and interact with their biases individually.

But this could also spark some controversies as their public posts can be subject to scrutiny. This could be the reason why other agencies and celebs themselves prefer not having their own socmed accounts or won't publicly reveal their profile.
