IU's Label EDAM Entertainment Apologizes for Season's Greetings Errors, Announces Legal Action
On January 12, IU's label EDAM Entertainment issued an official statement through their social media accounts, and apologized to fans for the recent issues that have occurred in the past week.
This time, however, EDAM Entertainment is apologizing for causing inconvenience to fans due to the errors found in IU's 2022 Season's Greetings.
According to the label, they will be taking follow-up measures to deliver the corrected Season's Greetings as soon as possible.
This is in light of fans finding errors on two of the pages in IU's Season's Greetings calendar, and three pages in her diary. According to fans, the pages with errors were either marked or unmarked.
In addition, EDAM Entertainment also announced that they will be taking strong legal action against malicious posts that target their artists, including IU.

"Hello, this is EDAM Entertainment.
Firstly, we apologize for causing concern to fans due to various issues that have occurred recently. We have caused inconvenience to our fans due to an error in the '2022 IU SEASON'S GREETINGS'. Above all, we feel responsible for disappointing fans who have been eagerly waiting for the Season's Greetings for a long time. Since we know that feeling better than anyone else, we are taking follow-up measures to deliver the corrected Season's Greetings to fans as soon as possible. Regarding the error that occurred this time, we will do our best to ensure that there is no neglect in its preparation by carefully inspecting the paying close attention, so that the incident not happen again.
In addition, we have opened the artist's official MD (merchandise) online store. However, various problems with the products and delivery have caused inconvenience to many people, and we would like to come up with a better solution for this. We apologize for the inconvenience caused from the defect in which the engraving was removed from some of the recent 'Strawberry Moon Necklace.' We will take care of this so that the purchase can proceed quickly.
Also, in order to repay fans for their support, we plan to have pre-orders for the 'Music Box,' and will announce the related details later. For those who have made purchases in the past, we will ensure that the music box is delivered safely.
In addition, delivery is being disrupted due to the prolonged strike of courier companies. We ask for your understanding as we are handling this so that products can be delivered to fans as soon as possible.
In the future, we will do our best to ensure that there are no problems in pre-order sales, delivery, CS, and etc, as well as providing in advance information on official MD products. Furthermore, we will monitor once again whether there are any errors in the official MD products, whether there are ay inconveniences, or whether there are desired products, and listen to the opinions of fans and actively improve on them.
We will also regularly take strong legal actions without leniency against malicious posts about our artists. We are reviewing every single material that fans send us by email, including our own monitoring within the company. Based on this, we are collecting evidence and filing a complaint through a law firm, but it is taking some time as several cases are currently under legal processing. More details on this will be provided to fans soon. We will no longer stand by to avoid hurting the hearts of our artists and fans, and we will continue our efforts to remove malicious comments.
We will take this opportunity to use as a stepping stone to ensure that the same thing doesn't happen again in the future. Lastly, we, EDAM Entertainment, will do our best to make 2022 a year full of happiness for our artists and fans by listening to fans' precious hearts.
